It's through our events and activities that we inspire and connect our members...to the community, to resources and to each other.  They are created and organized by our members and volunteers and provide opportunities to stay engaged and meet others who share their interests.  Before the COVID-19 pandemic, MGV volunteers and members coordinated:

• Movie Dates
• Quilting Bee (we donated fleece blankets to the MT Children's Hospital)
• Walking Groups
• Archery Lessons
• Art Workshops
• Christmas Ornament-Making Workshop
• Cooking for One Class
• Senior Speaker Series

Since the COVID-19 outbreak we have created ways to connect online and we are working with other organizations to bring crafts and projects to homes.  We've made soup runs, hosted drive-by birthday parties, and we also delivered 106 May Day baskets to front doors across the Valley. 

We are coordinating regular Zoom conversations and book clubs, and when we do get together we abide by strict safey guidelines: 

• we keep our guest list at 12 attendees
• we sanitize all tables (and the backs of chairs) before and after each gathering
• we require masks and, to be sure we include everyone, we have separate tables set up for those who cannot 'mask up'
