My Glacier Village is a 501(c)3 organization, led by a working board of directors and managed by an Administrator/Volunteer Coordinator. Built for seniors, BY seniors, we rely heavily on our members and volunteers. In addition to our working board we have committed volunteer team leaders, who have created and manage our Core Functions.
Kim Bar, Treasurer
Kim grew up in Billings, Montana. After graduating from MSU (Bozeman) with an accounting degree, she worked in private industry until 1995 when she started her own accounting business. With her long-time connections in the Billings community, she contracted to provide services for a large non-profit after losing their accountant. That was her start into the non-profit world which led her to many contracs with local organizations.
Kim and her husband, Dennis, moved to Kalispell in September, 2020 to be close to their daughter and her family. All but one client "came with" Kim as she relocated. As she is phasing out of the working world and into retirement, she had the pleasure of referring some of her clients to her daughter. Some of her semi-retirement time is spent with their granddaughter and cuddling their new grandson. When she retires completely in April, 2024, Kim and her husband plan to travel more. With three more grandsons in the Seattle area, there will be time for her to spend with their other daughter and her family.
Dennis started volunteering with My glacier Village in 2022. Kim started volunteering with MGV in late 2023 as a Board member. Now she oversees all the accounting for our organization and will start volunterring with the MGV members in the summer.

Kathy Cozad, Board President
Kathy Cozad, and her husband, Karl, moved to Whitefish in June of 2008. The prior 3 years were
spent in Pullman, WA and before that they resided in The Dalles, OR. They love the scenic and
natural beauty of the area, as well as the warm and friendliness of the people in the
Community.
Kathy spent 9 years employed by the Whitefish Community Center. She was their site manager
until she retired in 2021.
Her fondness for working with the elder population continues to grow as she volunteers and
serves as a board member for My Glacier Village. Her current duties at my Glacier Village
include volunteering for member requests, awareness team member, Whitefish Ambassador,
and member of the Board of Directors. Kathy has always wanted to be an advocate for the
senior community and now she has multiple ways to fulfill that desire.
