It takes a Village to raise children and it takes a Village to support the older adults in our community. My Glacier Village is a nonprofit organization that's been supporting older adults in our community since 2018. When you support My Glacier Village you're supporting older adults, widows, family caregivers, individuals and couples who are committed to aging in their own homes and on their own terms, who need a little extra help once in a while or are longing for connection. You are supporting generations who helped build this community we all love.
There are many ways to contribute to the success of My Glacier Village and support our volunteers and Members.
Volunteer Support - Help us help those who are helping others. Our volunteers commit their time, their hearts and their money to help our Members. They help cover the costs of activities and events, and cook meals. Some drive miles and miles per week and they all cover the cost of their own background checks. Volunteer Support Funds will help us buy gas cards and gifts of appreciation. It will also help cover materials and space for volunteer-led events and activities.
Corporate Sponsor - Parnter with us in creating a new way for seniors to age in the Flathead
Legacy Gift - Help us make a difference for local seniors by honoring someone who has made a difference in your life. Legacy Gifts will go into our General Fund. The costs of running an all-volunteer organization are very real. When you help us cover our operating costs, we are able to keep the costs of our events and activities low and affordable to everyone.
Member Scholarship - We welcome donations to the scholarship fund! We never want finances to stand in the way of Village membership.
Help a Member Connect with Tech! - Our Tech Team volunteers work one-on-one with members to help them get comfortable with using technology. We loan ipads and teach them to email, login to virtual programs, grocery shop, use telehealth and more. Your donation to the tech fund will help us pay for connectivity for seniors who are not online.

I know I need to find my new normal." MGV Member
